I've been thinking to get some older music albums and I've noticed that all good oldies are available only as remastered CD versions. I don't really like remasters because they don't sound nearly as good as the original master tapes.
So I came to this solution; I'll buy a turntable and try to find those old albums in vinyl.
Few months of thinking and searching the web for second hand turntables I found this beauty.

The original Rega Planar 2 with glass platter.

I also needed a RIAA -machine so I could connect the turntable to my amplifier. So I bought this used Project Phono Box Mk1.

I've been listening this combo for a couple of days and oh boy, I love this analog sound.

Amorals second album called 'Decrowning' was released half year ago by Spikefarm Records (www.spinefarm.fi).

Band plays aggressive and technical death metal with sense of style. Songs are excellent and you can listen the album without feeling that band members just want to show off their fast fingers.

Another great finnish metal album!
Misery Inc has two awesome vocalists. First vocalist sings with clean voice and the second one grunts. If you like melodic songs and bands like Killswitch Engage or Soilwork (especially album Figure Number Five) you will like this album too.

Finnish metal band Pain Confessor released a new album called Fearrage few weeks ago.
Album is quite a bit different than the previous album Turmoil but you can still recognize the Pain Confessor sound. Heavy riffs, accurate drums, really nice keyboard things with grunting and clean vocals.

One of the best albums released 2005! I really love this band. Death metal with old school trash metal.

I found this record from my CD shelf this morning. I had already forgot that I have this album. I bought this record when it was released two years ago. I remember the hype "Best band from Netherlands ever!". Well I think that Gorefest has released better albums than this one but still this album is worth buying.

Textures mixes ambient, progressive death metal, trash and metalcore together and you can hear influences from bands like Death, Meshuggah, Haunted and Devin Townsend.
